The Republic of the Philippines consists of 7,640 exquisite islands, about 2,000 of them being inhabited. This country is split up into three main parts: Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao. Luzon houses the capital city of Manila, which is coined as the “Pearl of the Orient” due to the endless museums, parks, theaters, and restaurants located in this bustling city. Manila is also known for its variety of street cuisine and food markets. Other places to visit include Mount Apo, the largest mountain in the Philippines, along with Eden Nature Park and a garden resort. We can’t discuss the Philippines without mentioning the beaches! This country is surrounded by crystal clear water and white sand where visitors can lounge and relax, or swim with dolphins and go whale watching!
